Stage rehearsal visits

On the following dates in the 2023/24 season, a school class has the opportunity to visit a rehearsal at Vienna State Opera and experience the rehearsal work. The group will have the opportunity to follow the artists’ working process. The rehearsals take place in the morning. The exact time will be announced upon registration. Participation is only possible after prior registration and is free of charge. Recommended age: 8th grade and up.

Dress rehearsal visits

In a dress rehearsal, a complete run-through of the finished new production is usually shown without interruption - with everything that contributes to the particularity and atmosphere of the respective production, such as costumes, make-up, stage design, light design. School classes are invited to take advantage of this unique opportunity to see a production of the Vienna State Opera or the Vienna State Ballet before the official premiere, which takes place a few days later, for € 10,-- per student.
